Paige facts: She loves to wear shirts and coats, she doesn't like dog food, she hates the cold but loves snow, doesn't like getting a bath, hates rain and thunder, loves new toys, is picky about her treats, hates the dog park, is an only child, knows some tricks, listens when she wants to and loves car rides and walks.

Most days you will find Paige at our office. She's got her own bed, toys and snacks but likes to come out and greet visitors. If you don't like dogs, let us know and she will be content to stay in the back. Don't say anything to her but technically, she's the boss. If you stay on her good side, she'll keep on us and make sure that your job gets done especially well. Although she may accept bribes, she's not authorized to give discounts. Her paws are too big for the keyboard and she cannot type up your invoice. We do listen to her requests though but she's usually just asking about new snacks

Is Paige friendly?

Paige is friendly but she is cautious when meeting new people. Don't be offended if you can't pet her the first time you meet her. Sometimes it takes meeting someone a few times before she warms up to them.

Does Paige bite?

While all animals have the capability to bite, Paige is kind of lazy. She won't even chew treats that are too hard so no, she's not much of a biter and has never bitten a person or animal.

Whats with the name?

We get that question a lot. For those of you that have been to our studio, you've probably met our mascot Paige. Paige is pretty popular with the customers and we wanted to give her props so we called the company Lion Dog Printing. Paige is a Shih Tzu, which translates to Lion Dog.

Here's a little history behind the name. Shih Tzu's were so named because they resemble a lion as they look in traditional eastern art. This dog is also called Chinese guardian lion, Foo Dog, Tibetan Lion Dog or Snow Lion. They are believed to have mythic protective powers, represent cheerfulness and a mind free of doubt, clear and precise. It has a beauty and dignity resulting from a body and mind that are synchronized. The Snow Lion has a youthful, vibrant energy of goodness and a natural sense of delight. The main quality of the snow lion is fearlessness, dominance over mountains, and the earth element.

While we wouldn't call Paige fearless, we hope the history of her ancestors brings some of its magical and protective powers to our studio and our clients.

What do you do?

We like to say; " You think it and we can find a way to do it". We are a printing, graphic design and promotions company. We do traditional and digital printing, high speed black/white and color copies, graphic and web design and can get you a whole host of promotional items to advertise your company and products.

Graphic Design: We are different from most print and promotional companies because we have a well versed design staff that knows both traditional and digital design. We combine the old and new to create something unique just for you.

Web: Besides designing for print, we also design, build and manage websites. We can offer you a basic start up site or something more robust. If you have a site, don't worry, we can make revisions to pages that already exist or we can take over managing the site for you and updating as often as you need.

Photography: We also have a digital photographer on staff and can provide you with bold imagery for any project that you have in mind. If you don't need anything but are a fan of photography, she does sell prints or we can make a poster for you. We can also retouch or colorize existing photos. Keeping up with the latest techniques and equipment is something that we love to do. I guess you could call us a bunch of geeks.

What if I am just starting out and don't know what I need?

Don't worry.. We've all been there and we can help you. You may need a logo designed, a corporate identity package with business cards, letterhead, envelopes, a website, etc. Depending what you do, you may need packaging, tags, stickers, stamps, shirts, menus or posters. Creating a mailing (a postcard, letter or self-mailing brochure) is a good way to let people know about your new business. You may even want to consider doing some e-mail marketing with a series of e-mail blasts. We can sit down with you and talk about all the options that fit your time frame and budget.

I've had a designer/printing/promotional company but now I want to come to you. Is that ok?

Not a problem. If you have samples of what they've done for you we can recreate the items while making whatever changes you want. If you have a computer file, we can usually open it, work with it and use it. We do have most of the latest print and web design software applications.

What is the mission of your business?

To provide creative design for print and web, to provide cost effective and great looking printing and promotional items.

What differentiates your business from competitors?

Most printers do not have as creative a design staff as we do. Not only can we design from scratch but we can fix your existing files so your job prints the best way possible.
